President's Message
The Denver Sheriffs Lodge 27 Fraternal Order of Police is the designated representative for the sworn, uniformed members of the Denver Sheriff Department. There are over 700 Denver Deputy Sheriffs and civilian employees that are members of our organization who serve the people of the City and County of Denver. Our members are responsible for performing the statutory duties of Sheriff’s Departments in Colorado in the jails, courts, and out in the public
We are committed to service the people of the City and County of Denver and the State of Colorado by providing protection services that help ensure the safety and security of all persons. Additionally, we are committed to building, enhancing, and maintaining a positive relationship with community members, organizations, and leaders by supporting community events and charitable causes.
As a labor organization our primary focuses is advocating for the people we represent and our goal is to improve the quality of life of our members and their families through the improvement of wages, benefits, and working conditions. We believe that through advocating for these things that it helps improve overall public safety because competitive wages, good benefits, and fair and respectful treatment will result in recruiting and maintaining the best and most professional personnel.
We will always be vigorous advocates for our members and be committed to the improvement of public safety services in our community. We will also always be committed to having positive relationships with community members and leaders, and in supporting charitable causes, especially those that help children.
